A workshop to develop an appreciation and understanding of the use of colour in watercolour painting. Students will become familiar with terminology, primary, secondary and complementary colours, warm and cool, tonal values, opaque, transparent colours and when to use them. They will also learn to mix dark colours, plus a range of greens and browns.
Each learning point is accentuated by a suitable exercise which will consolidate the learning.
