In this course, the tutor will share her secrets of how to paint with watercolours. You can get lots of the information about how to get started in watercolour painting. Full of clear, simple advice and step-by-step demonstrations. This course will teach even the least confident of beginners the skills and techniques needed to start painting. What you need to bring:

Students are required to bring their own art supplies. Students with existing materials, need to bring what they have. Tutor will assess on first day.

•Watercolor painting paper ( Baohong academy,100% cotton, 300g,cp,8k or A4, at least 10 pieces)

水彩纸 ( 建议宝虹学院级全棉水彩纸,300g,中粗纹,八开或A4,二十张的水彩本,可在淘宝、Temu购买。奥克兰Albany的Gordon Harris 有阿诗、法比亚诺等品牌,但价格比较贵,初学者不太有必要)

•Watercolor painting brush 水彩笔刷(Whitcoulls, Paper Plus, 或是Warehouse Stationery都可以买到,推荐国产秋宏斋的初学者三只笔套装,淘宝可买)

-round pointed brush (#4, #8)

水彩圆头笔刷(4号、8号)

-watercolor liner brush

水彩勾线笔

•Watercolor painting pigments (12 or 24 colors)

水彩颜料(管彩,12或24色,对于初学者不必花大价钱去追求大名牌,国产马利、或者白夜即可。新西兰的颜料品牌很有限,我基本都在淘宝购买。好一些的品牌推荐史明克、DS、荷尔拜因、MG)

•color palette (white)

调色盘(白色、大一点的,白色陶瓷盘子也是很好的)

•two cups for cleaning brush

两个洗笔杯(最好是透明的杯子)

•some kitchen paper 

一些厨房纸巾

•Mechanical pencil (HB,0.5)

自动铅笔(HB,0.5粗)

•eraser 

橡皮擦(最好是可塑橡皮)
