VCW: Drypoint Print to Plaster Workshop with Valerie Cuthbert
In this informative workshop with Valerie Cuthbert a drypoint image is scratched onto plastic sheet, inked, covered in plaster and left to set.
Description
In this workshop we will firstly make a drypoint print approximately A5 in dimensions (15 x 20cm) of a line drawing using a needle on plastic sheet. Bring one of your own drawings or choose one from those provided.
This will be printed onto paper when finished using printing ink and the press. The image is inked again and this time a wet mixture of plaster of paris will be poured over the top and it is left to dry sitting on a sheet of glass or perspex.
It can be collected later in the day.
