PSAD: Drawing with a Passion with Pauline Smith

The course is based on the successful process Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, by Dr Betty Edwards.

A proven course in which students will learn to draw accurately and realistically.

The course is structured to cover the 5 basic perceptions of drawing.

1. Perception of Edges

2. Perception of Shapes/Spaces

3. Perception of Light and Dark

4. Perception of Relationships

5. The Gestalt or Whole of the drawing.

A course over 20 hours of tuition. Each workshop will teach new techniques and consolidate skills learnt the previous week. The learning will be as a spiral, compounding learnt skills and expanding on them to achieve the 5 listed perceptions.  Be prepared to see the world in a different way!

Please note there will be no class on Sunday, 29 September 2024.

Cost Breakdown for Members: $256.50 Incl GST = $64.13 per class ($12.83 per hour). 

Cost Breakdown for Non Members: $285.00 Incl GST = $71.25 per class ($14.25 per hour).
