Join the Sculptor Collective for Kids and discover the exciting world of 3D art! Over 8 weeks, tutor Michael will guide young sculptors as they explore three dynamic mediums: clay, Ōamaru stone, and polystyrene. Kids will bring their own designs to life, learning essential techniques for shaping, carving, and building with each material. The program encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on fun while helping kids develop their artistic skills. By the end of the course, they’ll have created stunning masterpieces and gained confidence in using sculpting tools. This class is ideal for kids who love hands-on projects, new challenges, and bringing imaginative ideas to life!

Prerequisites
Kids 7 to 10 y. o.
Every term, this class aims to give something valuable to both returning students and newcomers. We want everyone to keep learning and improving in their art, using content that adds to what they already know and can do.
Supplies
Clay, firing, , Ōamaru stone and Tools are included in the cost and available for use in the class.
Children to wear old clothes as we get messy when we're having fun. Aprons can also be provided.
