Description
Suitable for people who have never done glass work before. Please see my Keep Learning workshops for those who have done glass before. Small group class (max 8) that will deliver plenty of fun and creativity in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
What do we make?
9.30-10.30. You can expect a professional introduction to the medium, cutting, nipping and grinding glass demo. 10.30 onwards you will finalise your design and gather in the glass you need and start creating.
This class is limited to making a garden scene. You can mix this up with your own take on choice of colours, flower size, trees etc… No piece ever comes out exactly the same. It is always unique.
You will make 2 flat pieces starting with 15cm square on clear glass. For your second piece, you can do the same size or choose to go with several smaller sizes or a thinner longer rectangle.
If time allows, you can make small suncatcher or small ornament size piece at the end.
