Step into the world of handcrafted jewellery in this exciting polymer clay workshop for teens. Inspired by the traditional Japanese Nerikomi technique, dating back to the 1500s, participants will experiment with marbled patterns and layered designs to craft unique earrings, necklaces, badges, and more. Guided through the process of shaping, baking, and assembling, they’ll complete their pieces with metal hooks and clasps, ready to wear home. This workshop blends history, creativity, and craftsmanship, offering a hands-on introduction to contemporary jewellery-making.

Prerequisites
11 yrs + All welcome
Please note that parents are not allowed in the class once the workshop has started.
A child enrollment and permission form will need to be completed.
Supplies
All materials will be provided.
Bring a lunchbox as there will be a break to refuel.
Recommended to wear old clothes as we get messy when we're having fun!
Aprons can also be provided.
