SHP.T.25A.04 - Fanzine Lino Printing & Marbelling
Discover the art of linocut printmaking in this hands-on workshop, where teens will learn to carve, ink, and print under the guidance of Valerie Cuthbert.
Description
Step into the world of linocut printmaking and explore the artistry of prehistoric and ancient designs in this immersive workshop. Under the expert guidance of printmaker Valerie Cuthbert, teens will master the fundamentals of carving, inking, and printing, using their own initials and symbolic motifs to craft a striking, personal masterpiece.
Building on techniques from the Tuesday, 15th session (though attendance at both is optional), participants will have the opportunity to combine their prints into a custom fanzine, transforming individual artworks into a cohesive, story-driven collection. Whether attending as a standalone experience or as part of the extended course, this workshop offers a dynamic blend of creativity, technique, and artistic expression—perfect for young artists looking to push their creative boundaries.
