This fun workshop is suitable for people who have never done glass work before. Small group class (max 8) that will deliver plenty of creativity in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

Description

Suitable for people who have never done glass work before.  Small group class (max 8) that will deliver plenty of fun and creativity in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

What do we make?
9.30-10.30. You can expect a professional introduction to the medium, cutting, nipping and grinding glass demo and practice. 10.30 onwards you will finalise your design and gather in the glass you need and start creating.
This class is limited to making a garden scene. You can mix this up with your own take on choice of colours, flower size, trees etc… No piece ever comes out exactly the same. It is always unique. Everyone will build their piece on clear glass (max size of base 250x160).

If time allows, you can make small suncatcher or picture at the end. Some examples of my work can be found on my Facebook page ‘christinewalkerartglass’

When will my art be ready?
Your piece will be taken away at the end of the workshop and fired in a kiln. You will be contacted when ready for collection from EAC (approx. 1-2 weeks).
