Description

This wonderful mixed media workshop based on Frida Khalo with Heather Watt will offer the students a fun, focused and a truly creative experience.

Working with a huge variety of materials and a choice of surfaces to work on will give the participants an opportunity to create their own Frida Khalo masterpiece. A variety of digital images are used to start the piece off and then creative embellishment results in a fabulous artwork.

ALL materials will be provided.

Prerequisites

All welcome including beginners.

Supplies

Materials which will be supplied are:

Canvases/vintage frames/vintage trays to work on

All fabrics/papers, paint, glue/embellishments ie: jewellery pieces, glue, paint

What you will need to bring: 

Apron

Water bottle 

Any special fabrics, laces, trinkets you would like to use on your work.

Cafe on site for coffee / lunch or bring your own.
