Join us for a hands-on workshop where teens will explore the art of sewing, design, and upcycling, transforming textiles into unique, wearable creations. Whether crafting a custom tote bag from scratch or redesigning a favourite clothing item, participants will learn essential sewing techniques while embracing sustainability. With a variety of fabrics, embellishments, and creative methods to choose from, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to rescue, reimagine, and repurpose fashion into something truly one-of-a-kind.

Prerequisites
11 yrs + All welcome
Please note that parents are not allowed in the class once the workshop has started.
A child enrollment and permission form will need to be completed.
Supplies
All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring aclothing item in need of upcycling!
Bring a lunchbox as there will be a break to refuel.
Recommended to wear old clothes as we get messy when we're having fun!
