JBW: Day Photography Guided Tour to Northhead with Jonathan Bourla

Come and share fine art photographer Jonathan Bourla’s love of photographing at Northhead, Mount Victoria, and Devonport on this one day photographic excursion workshop.

Description

Come and share fine art photographer Jonathan Bourla’s love of photographing at Northhead, Mount Victoria, and Devonport on this one day photographic excursion workshop.  Jonathan will drive you from Estuary Arts Centre in Orewa and lead you to locations which captured his heart early in his career.  Enjoy company with like-minded people, sharing and learning about photography.

These three locations have a whole range of photogenic attractions, including awesome views to Rangitioto Island and across to Auckland City, intriguing Northhead tunnels and fortifications, captivating pathways and worn steps, the curious mushroom features on Mount Victoria, to the fascinating architectural details and buildings in Devonport itself.

Departing Estuary Arts Centre at 9:30am, with a break for lunch in Devonport (either bring your own lunch or treat yourself to something yummy in one of Devonport’s cafes and restaurants) , Jonathan will have you back again in Orewa at approximately 4:30pm feeling inspired about your photography and having had a great day out.

Please note that if the weather on the day is rainy and not cooperative, there is an alternative back-up plan visiting the Winter Gardens in the Auckland Domain and/or the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT has an entry fee of nineteen dollars for non-Gold Card holders).

We have a comfortable van and transport costs are included.
