DTA2: Beginners Pottery Afternoons with Di Toi

Take your potting to new heights - push the boundaries of this fun and versatile medium. This class is suitable for beginners.

Description

Learn how to throw on a potter’s wheel using a step-by-step approach developing basic techniques or refining your skills. Get acquainted with ceramic terminology such as green-ware, leather-hard, bisque and glazed-ware. Have some fun and a laugh or two while learning to make bowls, vases, and cups.  Clay can be purchased from the centre on the first day. 

Clay, Glazing, and Firing costs are extra.

Cost Breakdown Member: $270.00 Incl. GST = $33.75 per class ($11.25 per hour)

Cost Breakdown Non Member: $300.00 Incl. GST = $37.50 per class ($12.50 per hour).

Suitable for beginners.   Intermediates will further develop their skills. 

Supplies

Tool kit available for $15.00 cash.

Clay is available to purchase at the centre and is an additional cost.
