J&MFW: Luminous Flowers in Pastel with Julie Freeman

In this two-day workshop learn how to perfect the art of Luminous Flowers with expert guidance from Julie and Michael Freeman, internationally recognised pastel artists.

Description

Julie and Michael are international award winning artists who share a love of pastel and realism. Both have had a fascination with realism since childhood and in both of their artwork they strive to create images that have greater depth and feeling than can be achieved with a photograph.

Julie is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Artists of NZ, (MPANZ), and Australia (MPSA) is in the Master Circle of IAPS and is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA).     Michael has a Master of Fine Arts degree and is also a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Artist of NZ (MPANZ) and Australia (MPSA). He is an Eminent Pastelist with IAPS, and a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA) .  Both Julie and Michael sell their original pastel paintings and signed Limited Edition prints. In addition both have gallery representation in the North Island and South Island.

Between them they have over 40 years of teaching experience, and currently teach workshops throughout NZ, and Internationally. Julie also teaches privately from their studio in Greenhithe Auckland.   They are also Mentors for the International group Mastrius.
