CWW: Keep Learning: Fused Glass with Christine Walker

FOR THOSE THAT HAVE DONE A BEGINNERS CLASS this workshop will build on what you have already learned adding new techniques and skills to your repertoire.

Description

To be eligible for this workshop you must have attended the beginner class or have done another workshop elsewhere that taught you how to cut glass safely. If you are not sure if this is the right class for you, please get in touch to discuss.

The price includes one base piece 13cm square or one larger piece 13x26cm rectangle. If you want to do something bigger or have time to make an additional piece, then it will be charged extra on the day - per weight of the glass and additional kiln firing charge.

All pieces will be flat and can be of any design you choose e.g. picture, landscape, waves, flower scene, abstract or a hanging Christmas decoration/ suncatcher.

Supplies

What do I need to bring?

  • N95 mask – need if using the glass grinder or powder (available to buy on the day if required $5)
  • Your food or café on site
  • Your ideas, images, inspiration
  • Closed toe shoes

Price includes all materials, tools needed and one kiln firing for  two pieces.

Your piece will be taken away at the end of the workshop and fired in a kiln. You will be contacted when ready for collection from EAC (approx. 1-2 weeks).
